- How many Arizona teams will qualify for the state championship?
- 64 to 66 teams will advance by participating in one of 13 qualifying events across the state.
- Is there a fee to participate?
- $100
- How do I register my team for the AZ State Championship?
- This tournament is by invitation only. Teams that have qualified will be emailed a link. If you believe that your team has qualified and you have not been contacted, please email [email protected].
- How many teams will advance to out-of-state tournaments?
- Arizona was awarded 5 advancement opportunities as listed below. Note that we often receive additional opportunities to travel out of state, sometimes as late as April. We recommend that you do not take apart your robot and Innovation Project until April 2026… just in case!
- FIRST World Championship in Houston, TX (April 29 – May 2, 2026). Note: Teams must be registered prior to March 18, 2026. Payment of $2000 USD is due to FIRST within two weeks of qualifying. All competing FIRST teams (including individual team members) are required to participate in the FIRST Housing Program.
- FIRST LEGO League Western Edge Open Invitational (May 29-June 1, 2026) in Long Beach, CA Registration fee: $2000 USD
- FIRST LEGO League Georgia Open Invitational (June 5-7, 2026)
- FIRST LEGO League WAFFLE – WPI Open Invitational (June 12-14, 2026)
- FIRST LEGO League Open International Canada Cup of Robotics Niagara 2026 (June 17-20, 2026) in Niagara Falls, ON, Canada Registration fee: $2500 CDN

Parking
Parking at the ASU West Valley campus is done through the AMP Park mobile app. To save time when you arrive on campus, you can download the app now and pre-load information about your vehicle(s). You can download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Also, there are QR codes displayed on lamp posts in Lot 11 (check both sides of the lamp posts to find the QR code).
