The 5th annual American Robotics Invitational (ARI) for the 2025/26 UNEARTHED FLL Challenge season will be held at Drew University in Madison, NJ on Saturday June 6th and Sunday June 7th 2026.  This invitational will be run in a championship format with opening ceremonies, group activities, in-person judging, 3 robot runs, awards presentations, additional Team Lightning Rounds, closing ceremonies. We are anticipating 60 teams representing over 40 FLL regions from across the US.

Teams must have a nomination (invitation) from their FIRST FLL Challenge Program Delivery Partner (PDP) to attend this event. 

Schedule

Saturday June 6 – 8am to 5pm (approximate times): Opening Ceremonies, Lightning Rounds (2-team alliance robot runs), Judging Sessions, Team Activities.

Sunday June 7 – 8am to 5pm: FLL robot practice, FLL official robot runs (3 rounds), Lightning Rounds Finals, Awards / Closing Ceremonies. 

Cost & Payment

$770 Team Registration Fee (cash discount available) 

Payment Methods: 

  • $750 (cash discount) for payment via personal Checks, W-9 / Purchase Order. 
  • $770 for payment via credit card, Zelle, Venmo
  • Registration fee is fully refundable if event organizers are able to secure a replacement team
  • Payment is due within 10 days of nomination/invitation

The event will adhere to all facility , local, state, and CDC COVID19 safety protocols as of June 1, 2026
