 lifier event is a full\, exciting day. FIRST LEGO League events run on a
  tight scheduleâ€”please be early for all judging and match sessions. Ju
 dging takes priority if thereâ€™s a conflict.\n\n\n\nBelow is some infor
 mation to help your team prepare:\n\n\n\n\nWhat to Expect at a FIRST LEG

  rounds on the official fieldâ€”your best score counts!\n\n\n\nHere is w
 hat to expect during your 30-minute judging session:\n\n\n\n\nJudging Se

 \n\n\n\nPlease keep pit areas tidy and free of food during matches and j
 udging.\n\n\n\nLunch area: outdoor\, campus grass area\; NOT PIT\n\n\n\n
 \nOther Notes\n\n\n\n\nPit Area is for team members/coaches. This event 
 is open to the families of your participants. The main viewable portion 
 of the event is being held in Â SC100 student pavilion so there should b
 e enough space (but it is hard to say for certain depending on how many 
 additional people show up per team).\n\n\n\nTeam Members shall always st
 ay together with Coach/Adultâ€™s supervision\, Gilbert Farmer Market Eve
 nt will be in the morning in another parking lot.\n\n\n\nTeams are welco
 me to bring their own map for practice in the open area (as long as it d
 oes not block the pathways or would make a hazard in an emergency).\n\n\
 n\nShared practice tables will be available on a First Come First Served
  basis.Â \n\n\n\nPlease help us keep the venue cleanâ€”weâ€™re grateful 
 to our host for the use of their facility.\n\n\n\n\nNotes for Smooth Eve
 nt:\n\n\n\n\nFIRSTÂ® LEGOÂ® League events follow a strict schedule. Judg
 ing sessions take priority over robot matches\, which can be rescheduled
  if needed.\n\n\n\nWe will have a livestream of the event for anyone who
  would like to watch from home.Â  You can find the livestream at: (https

 \, an extension cord\, spare parts\, and a copy of your robot programmin
 g to show to judges.\n\n\n\nNO Bluetooth is allowed during the competiti
 on.Â  Please bring a USB download cable to update any code on your robot
 .\n\n\n\nNo matter how ready you think your team is for competition - co
 me anyway!Â  Tournaments are a great place to meet other teams\, get ide
 as for the future\, and most of all\, have fun!\n\n\n\n\nCompetition:&nb
 sp\;\n\n\n\n\nEach team will have 1 practice round and 3 competition rou
 nds in the official robot game. Only the highest score in the competitio
 n rounds will count towards team rankings.\n\n\n\nEach team will have on
 e 30-minute judging session where they will present their project and ro
 bot design presentations.Â  Teams may not have any help from coaches or 
 adults during the judging session.\n\n\n\nThe judges will ask the team q
 uestions about their core values. There is not a core values activity an
 d there is no time to present a core values poster.Â Â \n\n\n\nEach team
  will have one table and 2 chairs for their homebase/pit during the even
 t.Â Â \n\n\n\n\nAwards:&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n\nTo be eligible to win awa
 rds / advance to state\, your full team needs to participate in all 4 ar
 eas of the competition: robot game\, robot design\, core values\, and in
 novation project.\n\n\n\nWinning an award does not automatically qualify
  you for State.\n\n\n\nAdvancing teams will be determined by the top ove
 rall rankings in all 4 areas combined.\n\n\n\n\n6 Teams will advance to
