Teams are welcome to bring their own food! Please keep pit areas tidy and food-free during matches and judging.
Concessions will be available for purchase with cash or card, along with exclusive Glendale Qualifier T-Shirts in 4 colors and adult & youth sizes! T-shirts will be $15 each.

- Team Information Sheet (optional – bring one copy for judges)
Event Schedule
7:45–8 AM – Team Check-In at the Welcome Table in Main Gym
8:10–8:20 AM – Coaches Meeting at the Welcome Table in Main Gym
9:00 AM – Judging Begins and Practice Robot Rounds Begin, followed by Official Rounds
12:30–1:15 PM – Lunch Break
4:00 PM – Closing Ceremony
Event concludes by 4:30 PM
Quick notes
- Please confirm your team’s name with Kinney — this ensures that announcers and judges have the correct name on event day. Once team schedules are generated and printed about two days prior to the tournament, your team name cannot be changed.
- Volunteer help needed: We could use a few more judges! Please send anyone who might be interested my way! I can send them a direct invitation to apply via email.
What to expect at an FLL Challenge qualifier
A qualifier event is a full, exciting day. FIRST LEGO League events run on a tight schedule—please be early for all
judging and match sessions. Judging takes priority in the event of a conflict.
