Our very own Arizona Desert WAVE team will be competing! Desert WAVE (Women in Autonomous Vehicle Engineering) is an all-female underwater robotics team based in Arizona. Founded in 2019 as a collaboration between the Si Se Puede Foundation and Arizona State University, the team designs and programs autonomous underwater vehicles. Desert WAVE empowers women in STEM by providing hands-on experience in engineering, programming, and teamwork while promoting diversity in robotics. Desert WAVE inspires the next generation of young women to pursue STEM careers.
