SUMMARY:Transportation Extravaganza
DESCRIPTION:Welcome\n\n\n\nWelcome to our summer transportation program 
 at Arizona State University! The Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering ar
 e excited to offer high school students a unique opportunity to explore 
 how people and goods move through our world\, from roads and bridges to 
 airports\, transit systems\, and emerging technologies. Throughout the w
 eek\, students will participate in hands-on activities\, visit real-worl
 d facilities\, and interact with faculty and industry professionals\, al
 l while experiencing life on a university campus. Our goal is to create 
 a safe\, engaging\, and inspiring environment where students can discove
 r new interests\, build confidence\, and begin to envision their future 
 in engineering and transportation-related fields.\n\n\n\nWhere to drop o
 ff\n\n\n\nDrop off and pick up will be on the north side of the Tooker H
 ouse complex on the ASU Tempe campus. In Google Maps\, ask for direction
 s to 500 E University Drive\, Tempe\, AZ 85281 and it should send you to

 \n\nSchedule\n\n\n\nThe camp is scheduled to start at 8 am and end at 4 
 pm each day. As we confirm activities\, the schedule below will be updat
 ed.\n\n\n\nTransportation Extravaganza 2026 ScheduleDownload\n\n\n\nWhat
  to bring/wear\n\n\n\n\nWear comfortable clothing. On field trip days\, 
 pants are mandatory per OSHA policies! Although we plan carefully to min
 imize time outdoors due to the Arizona heat\, consider wearing light col
 ors.\n\n\n\nClosed-toe shoes are required.\n\n\n\nReusable water bottle.
  As part of ASU's sustainability policy\, we do not provide disposable p
 lastic water bottles. Instead\, you will refill your water bottle often.
 \n\n\n\nBackpack or day pack for when we are on the go\n\n\n\nSunglasses
 &nbsp\;\n\n\n\nSun protection\, such as a hat or umbrella\n\n\n\nSunscre
 en \n\n\n\n\nOptional\n\n\n\n\nLaptop – in case you want to use your 
 own device to program your autonomous vehicle. (A laptop will be provide
 d to all students.)\n\n\n\nCell phone\, earbuds\, and chargers\n\n\n\nSp
 ending money for souvenirs\, vending machines\, food purchases on campus
