What to Expect at a FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge Qualifier
A qualifier event is a full, exciting day. FIRST LEGO League events run on a tight

Lunch
Teams are welcome to bring their own food.

Concessions will be available for snack purchase, but not really for lunches.

Please keep pit areas tidy and food-free during matches and judging.

Other Notes
• If you bring your own practice mat, keep it clear of walkways. Shared practice tables will
be available in the pits.
• Families and guests are welcome! The viewing area is the gym area and the open common areas.
• Please help us keep the venue clean—we’re grateful to our host for the use of their
facility.

Quick Actions
• Confirm your team’s name with me — this ensures announcers and judges have the
correct name on event day. Once team schedules are generated and printed about two
days prior to the tournament, your team name cannot be changed.

I’ll send a follow-up email Thursday, December 4th with your team’s detailed schedule and any last-minute updates.

Feel free to reach out with questions. See you soon for an amazing day of robotics and
innovation!
